A rare and wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Director position at a small animal practice on the wonderful Isle of Anglesey. A place of unparalleled beauty and amazing adventures, Anglesey is an historic island full of character.
The practice, which is just a 5 minute walk to the beach, is 100% small animal based with a loyal client base. It is fully-equipped with the latest in technology including a modern IDEXX in-house laboratory (catalyst and procyte), digital AGFA CR X-ray, video endoscope and bronchoscope, colour Doppler ultrasound with ECG, tonopen and a slit lamp which would allow candidates to work up cases fully in-house.
The case load ranges from the standard to the more specialist services and treatments such as chemotherapy, echocardiograms, ECG, video endoscope and bronchoscope for non-invasive investigations and advanced surgeries. They have an extensive collection of orthopaedic equipment including LEAP kit, Securos 2.4mm locking plate kit and a wide range of standard cortical and external fixator kits.
Our client is looking for someone with good management and leadership skills, and is keen to work up cases, provide excellent client care and has great communication skills.
The Rota:
• Full Time role - 40 hour week
• 4 days per week, Monday - Friday
• Fair share of Saturday mornings
• Evening/weekend in-patient rota
