A busy, friendly, forward-thinking small animal practice are looking for a Clinical Director to lead the team at this well-established practice.
You will be an integral part of building on the existing clinical team. They have a motivated and proactive nursing team, consisting of registered veterinary nurses, student veterinary nurses and veterinary care assistants who provide a high level of support and are confident with schedule 3 procedures and consulting. They also have a full reception team who help provide a high level of client care. The nursing team led by the Head Nurse is particularly keen on pain management and local anaesthesia techniques.

They have recently invested in dental x-ray and a new dental suite, alongside the usual gadgets such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonopen, multiparameter monitoring equipment, blood haematology and biochemistry, bair huggers and blood pressure machines.

The practice is situated in an area that revels in a reputation as a trendy, up-and-coming location, ideal for prospective house buyers and provides residents with everything needed to enjoy life. Plenty to do, great accessibility, value for money property, and well-rounded schooling options.

Day to day you will undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations with a varied caseload. You would also be responsible for mentoring junior members of the team and setting clinical objectives to achieve best practice in patient and client care.

Candidates must have current MRCVS registration the ideal candidate would have previous experience of leading a team while driving financial performance, however, this is not essential as support and training will be provided to the right candidate.

The Rota:
• Ideally a full-time role
• Flexible working will be considered.
• 40hr week spread over 4 or 5 days with a flexible shift pattern.
• No out-of-hours
