Are you an experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist looking for a new rewarding opportunity where you can make a difference and change the lives of others? You will be working at The Chimneys Clinic, a 12 bedded service providing specialist care that is specifically designed to support women that have a diagnosis of an emerging or personality disorder.

Your responsibilities will include:
To support the provision of psychology services in a specified area, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and under the direction and supervision of a Senior/Principal/Consultant or Lead Psychologist.
Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and ensure that the patient is fully engaged in their care pathway.
To support clinical team working, including both direct interventions and the delivery of staff training programmes.
To support the clinical team and area of service in developing new initiatives and ways of working.
To work with internal and external agencies in order to enhance treatment pathways for patients.
To develop and manage groupwork programmes and innovative therapeutic approaches. To ensure that appropriate outcome measures are in place.
To take a key role in Psychology service developments, providing an evidence-based approach to new clinical initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you'll need the following skillset and qualifications:
Successful completion of a Doctorate in either Clinical or Forensic Psychology or the British Psychological Society's stage 2 training in Forensic Psychology, enabling registration with the HCPC as as Practitioner Psychologist..
Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner Psychologist and Charterable status with the British Psychological Society.
Experience (either pre-training, on training, or subsequently) of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the population in the service area.
Competency in psychological assessment and formulation skills and an aptitude for learning new assessment methods.
Competency as regards risk assessment/management tools and formulation.
Clinical therapy skills - Experience using CBT skills to address a range of clinical and/or forensic issues. An awareness of other modalities and how they may be applied to the current service user population.
