Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Health Litigation Solicitor - Manchester

Clinical Negligence Solicitor – We are looking to speak with solicitors with ideally 1 PQE or more though NQ solicitors will be considered. Our client has forged an enviable reputation for advising on the full gamut of clinical negligence work including complex birth injury cases. Although, highly regarded, this is a team which does not rest on its laurels and continues to grow and develop.

The team is looking for robust litigators, capable of taking a pragmatic approach. The hiring managers look for bright technical lawyers who work well together and who share a genuine enthusiasm for the practice area. In particular, they look for a:
  • Strong technical understanding of clinical negligence work – claimant or defendant;
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills;
  • Sound appreciation of client care and service delivery;
  • Strong ability to liaise with clients, experts and witnesses
Vast range of work

The team advises on all manner of clients including public and private hospitals, niche clinics, pharmaceutical companies, health ministries and local authorities. In particular they are looking for an clinical negligence solicitor with a passion for the healthcare sector. Work includes:
  • advising organisations including NHS Resolution on everything from delayed or misdiagnosis (eg related to such diseases as cancer) to birth injury cases resulting in conditions such as cerebral palsy.
  • Advising on cases involving surgical malpractice
  • Advising on other matters such as the prescription of incorrect medication or incorrect length of prescription
