As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing specialized care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds, including measurements, staging, and identification of underlying causes. Provide direct wound care interventions, including dressing changes, wound irrigation, debridement, and application of topical medications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients, including consultations with surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and caregivers on proper wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and signs of complications.
