In our team you will:

  • Build an extraordinary career and play a key role in creating solutions that will transform organizations and communities around the world
  • Work with the likes of Microsoft / Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in supporting our clients migrate to cloud and thrive in the cloud once there
  • Develop industry skills and sharpen your insights on how FinOps can help clients achieve the expected value from their investments in cloud 
  • Develop functional skills on how you can help companies change organisational behaviours and culture that enables effective transparency and control of their cloud spend
  • Build expertise on emerging cloud services, pricing models and cloud cost management tooling

In this role you will:

  • Act as an ambassador for Cloud FinOps and support in the creation and evolution of go-to-market offerings
  • Understand the major cloud provider’s pricing options, cost principles and cost drivers
  • Develop cloud optimisation tactics and policies that support in driving value from cloud investments
  • Define a business case for cloud assessments, digitisation, automation, operating model, and cloud strategies
  • Understand how cloud, data, and legacy IT drives cost and value
  • Develop Cloud FinOps governance structures to support the change in reporting and insights needed to control cloud spend
  • Provide our clients with a full 360-degree view on their IT estate covering applications, infrastructure, and networks from a cloud compatibility, analytics, and digital point-of-view

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Knowledge of the major cloud providers’ service offerings and associated pricing structures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of the major cloud providers’ billing and invoicing (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Cloud FinOps concepts and best practices
  • Experience of optimising cloud costs
  • Good knowledge of core financial principles and practices (including forecasting, chargebacks etc.)
  • Experience analysing, forecasting, and optimising cloud spend to achieve business value
  • Strong emerging architecture, networking, and security knowledge
  • Cloud expertise, including cloud migration, infrastructure, and application assessments

Set yourself apart:

  • Experience with Cloud Cost Management tooling
  • Cloud Business Case / Cloud Financial Operations / Cloud Forecasting and Estimating
  • Experience with Terraform, Jenkins/Ansible/Bash scripting/Chef experience/Gitlab CI
  • Experience with high availability and business continuity principles
  • Experience of working with DevOps/SRE team
  • Cloud Technology architecture/ target architecture
  • Enterprise architecture skills
  • Experience of working in a multisite environment
