Job Description
Cloud Security Consultant with expertise in eitherCloud Security, Security Engineering on the cloud, Cloud Security Management etc, is required for world class organisation to drive continued success on a global scale within the Banking / Finance sector.
Skills & Experience:
Successful track record as a Cloud Security Analyst or Security Engineer, with some gained through working in public cloud security architecture and engineering
Experience of implementing cloud security in a regulated sector such as Financial Services
Experience of working within a DevOps environment including agile and CICD and implementing security within the development processes
Detailed working knowledge of how information security standards such as ISO 27001/2 and NIST 800-53 apply to public cloud platforms
Relevant cloud security certifications for public cloud platforms
Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc).
Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
Good working knowledge about security operations, networking, application services, databases and storage solutions
Deep and validated understanding of Public Cloud Security technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Preferred Skills
Experience of working with enterprise IT and implementing hybrid cloud solutions
Working knowledge of DevOps technologies around Continuous Integration & Delivery
Exposure to Microservices design/implementation, API Management, Container technologies, Big Data Solutions in Cloud, NoSQL, etc
Familiarity with various delivery methodologies, including Agile
Security, Technical or Enterprise architecture models eg TOGAF, Zachman, SABSA, etc
Relevant industry accreditation (eg CISSP or CISM)
Successful candidate will most likely be either:
AnArchitect with experience of large Cloud migration; or
CISO in a mid-size geographically-spread organisation with some cloud service roll-out experience/cloud transformation experience, or
A member of the Cloud Trust teams of the top cloud providers: Google Cloud, MS Azure, and Amazon Web Services.
