United Learning Trust is seeking to appoint a senior Finance Professional into the role of Cluster Finance Manager supporting two established secondary academies in Salford. These academies are; Salford City Academy and The Albion Academy. Each academy has an experienced and operational Finance Assistant.

The successful candidate will have an overarching responsibility to coordinate with the Executive Business Manager and onsite finance teams at each school, to ensure good financial management in-line with United Learning Trust policies and guidance and streamline processes across the cluster. The delivery of successful output is agreed with each school and the cluster’s Executive Business Manager.

This role requires a highly focussed individual that is organised and passionate about making a difference in our schools and for the local community. The postholder will deliver a high level of service that supports all staff in providing outstanding learning and progress for our students.

Applicants must ideally hold a degree or other relevant qualification - ideally in accountancy, business management or a related discipline although this is not essential and candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
