are currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join our client who are a world renowned Manufacturing company based in Bredbury.
The role entails:
To be able to machine components to technical drawings and specifications.
To set-up and operate CNC machines correctly.
Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
Self-inspection of own work.
Ensure that preventative & General maintenance checks are carried out.
To ensure that all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times.
You will:
Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
Have knowledge to set and operate CNC machines
Milling
Know how to edit and prove out CNC programs.
Know how to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc.)
Have sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.
Good attention to detail.
Be a strong team player with a can do attitude.
Be able to produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.
Be able to maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.
Job Requirements:
Experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred but not essential.
You will have minimum 5 years experience operating CNC machines.
Engineering Apprenticeship or similar or time served
Fanuc experience advantageous.
