An exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC setter/programmer/operator to join a successful turned parts company in North Devon.Job Title: CNC MachinistJob Type: Full Time; PermanentLocation: BarnstapleHours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Thursday (4 day week)Salary: £15 to £16 an hour based on experience Essential Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist role: Set & Operate CNC machine to specific programme as per part number and work instruction sheet via DNC link (direct numerical control) on computerLoad tooling as appropriate into CNC machineCheck accuracy of parts using appropriate measurement toolsTake corrective action to rectify errors by offset adjustment on CNC machineKnowledge and application of lean principles/tools/5 S/seven wastes, participating in Kaizen eventsAbility to be flexible and adaptable working on different machines and assisting colleagues as required.Maintain TPM on machinesEnsure manufacturing Essential Requirements: Apprentice trained in Setting and Programming CNC Turning machines in a precision environmentHave an eye for detail and a methodical organised approachHave a proven track record of work and experiencePrevious machining experience is essential What does our client offer?
