Job Description
CNC Miller required to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Uckfield area. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a range of engineering machines. This position would be ideal for someone with CNC Programming Setting and Operating experience as well as previous experience within a manual machining role.CNC Miller Position OverviewSet up and operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification / drawings.Develop CNC programs using CAM software or manual programming language.Select and install the appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and maintenance performed.Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.Adhere to all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.CNC Miller Position RequirementsPrevious experience within a similar positionTechnical degree or certification in CNC programming and operation preferred, but not essential.Experience working on a range of machines including CNC and ManualFamiliar with CAM software and manual programming languagesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances.Must live within a commutable distance of UckfieldCNC Miller Position RemunerationFull time - permanent positionMonday to Thursday - 36 hoursSalary - £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)33 days holiday including BHPension schemeFree parkingBennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
