CNC Setter/Operator
ESS Employment are recruiting a CNC Setter/Operator for an established Engineering company, to operate a Fanuc control CNC machine to produce high-quality machined parts.
Duties:
• Operate and feeding metal into various machinery as authorised in accordance with manufacturers operating instructions.
• Start and monitor CNC machine to ensure it performs operations accurately and efficiently.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn machine components.
• Maintain all standards of Health and Safety Rules of the Company.
• Implement company requirements for the quality system, ISO 9001: 2008 at all times.
• Maintain good standards in the work place, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Clean workshop areas, empty waste containers, assisting with other duties as required.
• Maintain records of machine setup, program changes and production data
The candidate:
• Must have FANUC experience
• Work alternating shift
• Experience setting and operating turning and milling machines
• General machine operating or engineering experience would be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication
• Access to transport

• You are authorised to operate machinery as approved by your Manager/Supervisor, these are detailed and confirmed in your training record.
Benefits:
• 28 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays), raising to 33 days after 5 years.
