They are now seeking a talented and motivated Senior Credit Controller to join the team and contribute to their continued success.

Job Description

As a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in the company's efforts to recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, using your excellent communication and negotiation skills to collect payments and resolve any outstanding issues. Your goal is to minimise losses and maximise recoveries while providing exceptional service to their clients.

Your role will be shaped around the below responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and develop effective collection strategies.
  • Initiate contact with debtors through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement options with customers.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes or issues that may be delaying payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with debtors to facilitate resolution.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need to enjoy working in a fast paced environment, working to deadlines and be confident with stakeholder management and overall have strong customer service skills and resilience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
