Job Description

We are looking for a Commercial and General Property Solicitor with 1 to 4 years post-qualified experience to join our Salisbury based Team.

Job Summary

To work closely with all members of the team and will tend to specialize in Commercial property (although there will also be some rural and estates property work) working predominantly for private clients.

The Team

The team comprises 5 partners and 12 other fee earners.

Key objectives and responsibilities

· provide assistance on large and often complex transactions dealing with the sale, purchase or letting of substantial properties and businesses. Transactions range from £500,000 - £50m and can include leases, assignments, surrenders, licences, options, promotion agreements, conditional contracts, joint ventures and similar structures;

· Begin to carry own caseload (with supervision which we anticipate will reduce as experience grows);

· be commercially aware and demonstrate a commercial approach in the handling of client matters; and

· be willing to participate in the firm's business development activities.
