It’s the reason we are here, and it’s the task we all focus on every day.</p><p><b>What will I be doing?</b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and brokers.</li><li>Profitably underwrite Commercial Combined on a case-by-case basis within Covéa’s appetite and underwriting criteria. </li><li>Maintain, and endeavour to exceed, agreed service levels to both internal and external customers.</li><li> Working closely with senior underwriters and supporting those more junior </li><li>Maintain an accurate audit trail using Covéa systems, practices and procedures.</li><li>Develop and maintain and up-to-date knowledge of:<br>- The commercial lines market<br>- The broking marketplace<br>- Legislation and litigation which could affect the writing of business</li></ul><p><b>You should apply if...</b></p><ul><li>You have strong trading skills with experience in developing broker accounts to achieve profitable growth.</li><li>You have underwriting knowledge, specifically with previous experience in Commercial Combined.</li><li>You have previous Commercial Combined Underwriting experience.</li><li>You are passionate about your own development within the insurance industry.</li><li>You have the ability to demonstrate meeting & exceeding personal and team objectives.</li></ul><p><i>We understand that some candidates may be hesitant to apply for a position if they do not meet all the criteria listed in the job description.
