Job Title: Commercial Manager - In Life Outsourcing Contracts (Public Sector)
Location: Remote-based with occasional travel within the UK
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Commercial Manager, specializing in in-life outsourcing contracts within the public sector customer base. As a key player in the organization, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of a significant account, ensuring contract compliance, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Effectively manage in life outsourcing contracts, overseeing terms and conditions, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and tracking obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our public sector client, acting as the primary point of contact for contractual matters and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Profitability Enhancement: Drive profitability within the contract by identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage contractual risks, working closely with internal teams to implement strategies that mitigate potential issues.
- Performance Tracking: Implement robust systems for tracking contract performance metrics, analysing data, and providing regular reports to key stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate and finalize new contracts, amendments, and change orders.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Occasional Travel: Undertake occasional travel within the UK to attend client meetings, review operations, and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, legal or related field.
- Proven experience in commercial management of in life outsourcing contracts, particularly within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of terms and conditions, SLAs, and in life contract management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse data and drive decisions based on key performance indicators.
- Demonstrated experience in driving profitability within contractual agreements.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK.
