Head of Finance - Reading - £55000 (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office) This role could be part-time or full time Our client is a respected employer in Reading, dedicated to supporting the local community. The Head of Finance will lead the financial and IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the organisation's mission and goals. This role is integral to the Senior Management Team, contributing to strategic leadership and fostering a cohesive culture across the organisation. Leading the annual financial and IT operational planning and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Overseeing financial management activities including budgeting, financial reporting, and audits. Providing strategic financial advice related to property loans, grants, and special projects. Ensuring compliance with statutory financial reporting requirements and leading the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts. Leading and developing the Finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CCAB). They will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in strategic financial management and a proven track record of driving organisational improvement.
