Job Description
We are working closely with one of the leading national law firms, who are looking for a Commercial lawyer to join them for a 6 – 12 months FTC. The successful candidate will be involved in providing commercial advice to clients within the healthcare sector. This role could be based in either London, Birmingham, or Leeds.
The firm is recognised as a market leader in providing legal services to their long-standing clients in both the private and public sectors, including NHS organisations, governmental and regulatory bodies, healthcare providers, insurers, charities, and GP practices.
In this role you will be involved in a range of commercial contracts, including advice on contractual and performance management, commercialisation, income generation and intellectual property rights, IT contracts, collaboration and joint ventures, financing health start-ups, statutory mergers and acquisitions, and PFI work.
Candidates should ideally be available at short notice or immediately, and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales, or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, or New Zealand, for example)
- 2+PQE in handling commercial matters.
- Experience gained from notable City or Regional firms
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and able to demonstrate a commercial mindset and the willingness to embed themselves within a team
