In House Counsel
Commercial counsel - technology – 4+ pqe
Our client is a fast growing tech payments security business operating in multiple markets around the world.
The business has a large and diverse customer base including many household names and has long term partnerships with leading network and telecoms providers. They are committed to developing exciting new products with expanding geographical reach.
To support this growth the business is in need of a Corporate Counsel in the UK to assist in fulfilling their corporate and commercial needs. Reporting to the, US based, GC, you will work primarily remotely and may be asked to attend the Guildford HQ from time to time. The GC is incredibly supportive and has created a great working environment and promotes development and career opportunities within his team. As a member of the in-house legal team, you will support the sales, procurement and marketing operations with supplier and customer contracts and complex software licence agreements. You will also be involved in company secretarial duties, HR functions, IP matters and privacy regulations.
You will have at least 4 years’ commercial experience gained in a leading private practice firm and/or in house preferably with a tech business. You will have relevant experience representing companies in a wide range of commercial matters.
