Your newpanyYour new job working as amercial Liability/ Casualty Assistant for an MGA based in the City, who provides insurance solutions that specialises in both the e-trade & traditional underwriting of SMEmercial package policies inclusive ofmercialbined & contractorsbined, plus in addition, some personal line insurance distributed through agency network of UK retail insurance brokers. Your new MGA pride themselves on ensuring excellent engagement with and performance for insurers, and it is of paramount importance to ensuring the continued sustainability of the insurer panel offered to brokers. Due to growth in themercial Team, a permanent role for amercial Underwriter Assistant who has proven experience in handling Liability/ Casualty Assistant risks has risen..Your new roleYour new job working as a Liability/ Casualty Assistant Underwriting means you will be responsible for writing UKmercialbined/SME Underwriter business on a presentation basis. You will be underwriting a high volume of enquiries. The average premium is circa £3,000 with a potential to write up to a premium of £100,000. You will have experience of writing policy terms and calculating premiums in line with both in-house authority limits and insurer binding authority agreements, as well as having proven broker relationships. This role sits within the existing business team, but there is an opportunity to progress to the New Business team.What you’ll need to succeedYour previous experience working as either a Liability/ Casualty Assistant Underwriter or amercial Liability Account handler who has experience of handling Liability/ Casualty risks via a Binder will contribute to your success in securing this role.You will have experience of dealing with SME risks and contribute to loss ratio control by effectively adhering to thepany's underwriting controls. You will also be an optimistic candidate and be able to positively reinforce and display thepany values and to actively drive the business forward in achieving its objectives.What you’ll get in returnYou’ll be offered apetitive salary of £35,000 (dep on exp) Plus aprehensive benefits package.
