Job Description
My client is a legal 500 law firm on the lookout for an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join their office in SW London. The ideal candidate will possess excellent commercial skills and a strong focus on business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle commercial litigation cases by drafting pleadings, statements of case, and other court documents with minimal supervision.
- Perform comprehensive legal research and provide in-depth analysis on various legal matters.
- Assist in pre-trial preparations, including drafting witness statements, preparing bundles, and coordinating with counsel.
- Advocate for clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships, aiding in client retention and business development.
- Formulate and execute strategies to attract new clients and expand the firm’s litigation practice.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking functions to elevate the firm’s profile.
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement business development initiatives.
- Guide and support junior team members, promoting a collaborative team environment.
