We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate (Solicitor/FILEX) with 0-2 years PQE, to join DAS Law as part of the Commercial/Complex Litigation team.. The successful candidate will be required to handle a varied caseload of civil/commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes and potentially some professional negligence disputes, under the supervision of a Senior Associate

In this role you can expect to take control of a broad range of complex contract, commercial litigation and/or professional negligence claims. You will assess prospects of success quickly and accurately in new cases that might be factually dense and/or legally complex, providingconfident and clear advice to a diverse range of clients (including individuals, SMEs and large companies). In addition, you will:
- Assist senior members of the Team with their larger cases;
- Draft and prepare all necessary pleadings (with Counsel’s assistance where appropriate) and litigating cases through to trial, where necessary, in both Fast and Multi Track;
- Resolve claims via a range of ADR methods including mediation and negotiation;
- Become involved in business development alongside the team leader to win new mandates in the insurance and wider market; and
- Demonstrate a commercial awareness in the resolution of cases and working with the wider team to streamline processes and procedures in order to maximise revenue and profitability.
