Role Purpose

The Role

We are currently working remotely and will continue to work predominantly in this way on an informal basis until government guidelines change and likely beyond. Therefore, so as long as you would be able to come to one of our offices at least twice per week, client and team requirements depending, you will be able to undertake this role. You will be a core part of the team and able to access the technology, support and resources you require. 

We are looking for a Legal Support Assistant to join the Commercial Litigation South/Wales business group to support the teams with a broad range of administrative and operational tasks. The successful candidate will have proven excellent communication and organisational skills required to assist the lawyers in the group.

Typical Workload

The role will be providing administrative support to assigned fee earners. This will include:

  • Prompt administration and management of files including: opening file tasks, initial conduct of matters, closing of files
  • Ongoing assistance with matters
  • Organisation of documents including printing, scanning and organising e-files
  • Accounts/billing responsibilities including liaising with our accounts team
  • Collating, analysing and reporting of data as required by fee earners/clients
  • Conference and meeting arrangements, diary management
  • Other ad hoc duties as required by fee earners
