Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Leading, dynamic and well-respected Tier1 major civil engineering contractor who operate in the rail, infrastructure and highways sectors have an outstanding requirement for a Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to play a key part in the commercial management of a highways infrastructure project with a value of circa £90m.
Working closely with the senior commercial and project leadership teams, this individual will have responsibility for the strategic commercial management of an infrastructure structures and highways scheme under the NEC option C form of contract, with managerial responsibility for a commercial team in order ensure the commercial and contractual delivery of the project.
The suitable individual will be undertaking either a Managing Quantity Surveyor role looking for that next step or be employed in the capacity of Commercial Manager looking for career progression with one of the most progressive contractors in the UK.
They will have a track record of success in the commercial control of major civils and highways projects and will have the drive, vision to and management expertise to undertake responsibility for the management of each project under their jurisdiction ensuring commercial project delivery and divisional performance.
Previous knowledge of highways schemes would be distinct advantageous but is not absolutely essential. They will be either currently working as a Commercial Manager looking for progression or at Managing QS looking for the next step in their career.
Salary & Benefits: circa £90,000 upwards per annum plus benefits package including attractive bonus.
