Commercial Supply Chain Associate Director

This is a n important role t o ensure the functionality and operational running of the Supply Chain department , working closely with the Commercial Supply Chain Director . You will drive the delivery of the short, medium and long-term strategy, working cross functionally , to promote the vision, compliance and ways of working for the supply chain operations. Key responsibilities are as follows :
- Execut ion of the strategy and ensur ing product availability and production capacity is held in the right place at the right time . Working with Global Supply Chain Management , to design and define the European Supply Chains
- Ensure the continuous optimi s ation of the European supply chains , focusing on spending and working capital improvements
- With the Director develop a multi-skilled Supply Chain team, capable of alternating responsibilities as the Supply Chain requirements evolve throughout the growth of Shionogi Europe
- Manage a member of the team
- Lead Supply Chain projects such as new route to market establishment and strategy development for New Product Launches and site transfers
Being a smaller pharmaceutical company , we need you be strategic as well as hands on, with experience in:
- Commercial Supply Chain management in a pharmaceutical environment , with extensive knowledge of supply chain GDMP/ GxP requirements
- P eople management and development , with p roven track record of demonstrat ing leadership in negotiation and management
- S uppl y Chain strategy setting and ability to drive implementation to support a fast-growing business
- S upply C hain processes including materials requirements planning, capacity planning, order management, demand planning, vendor management, vendor scheduling, transportation
- Bachler degree in life science related subject or engineering. Masters’ qualification in Supply Chain or MBA would be highly advantageous.
