Role: Commissioning Engineers (HVAC)

Location: Field-based positions available in the NE or NW of England

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced commissioning engineers for field-based positions. The role involves commissioning, routine planned preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance checks on the company’s product range. This position requires travel to various sites and interaction with end users and contractors to efficiently complete tasks while adhering to health & safety and quality procedures. Report writing and paperwork completion are also part of the job.

Although comprehensive training will be provided, the ideal candidate should have prior experience in commissioning and maintaining ventilation systems, both mechanically and electrically. Technical knowledge of similar products is advantageous. A company vehicle, along with all necessary tools and equipment, will be supplied.

Professional Experience:

  1. Proven experience in commissioning ventilation systems, including HVAC control systems like BACnet.
  2. Familiarity with safety regulations and their implementation. SSSTS/SMSTS certification is preferred, though a CSCS Blue skilled worker card is the minimum requirement.

Education:

  1. Qualification in electrical installation or electronic engineering to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, with 18th edition certification being desirable.
  2. A full UK driving license is required.
