LV Commissioning Engineer - 400kv Onshore Converter Station - Offshore Wind Project - Ipswich, England - £Excellent Day Rate - 18 Month Contract + Extensions - August Start Date - Monday to Friday Site Based

Responsibilities:
- Witness and verify EPC contractor commissioning activities for LV distribution and ancillary systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct and review functional tests on LV systems up to 1kV, including security, HVAC, and firefighting systems.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and punch lists.
- Identify, report, and facilitate the resolution of any technical issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, EPC contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to verify the readiness and quality of installations, providing feedback and recommendations as needed.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in commissioning LV distribution systems and ancillary systems (security, HVAC, firefighting) up to 1kV.
- Strong knowledge of LV distribution systems, control systems, and ancillary equipment.
- Proven experience of UPS, batteries and charger commissioning & troubleshooting activities.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week and adapt to project demands and schedules.
