Due to rapid and continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Handover Engineer to join a leading contract organisation, delivering consultancy services, engineering solutions and site operations support to some of the UK’s leading Defense contractors. This is a contract role, hybrid, can be either Inside or Outside of Scope of IR35 with SC or DV Clearance being essential.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Handover Engineer will be involved in ensuring the successful transition of a project from completion to full operational capability.
Preparing and collating necessary documentation, liaising with clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers, and ensuring all project objectives and requirements are met.
Contributing to the handover strategy, preparing handover plans, verifying, and validating requirements, managing LTQR documentation.
Ensuring effective communication across disciplines.
The Handover Engineer also maintains technical competency through continuous professional development and ensures compliance with the project lifecycle process and site license conditions.
Skills and qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
Professional qualification in Quality Control or Audit.
Project management skills with a focus on project delivery and adherence to timelines.
Knowledge of quality control and audit processes.
SC or DV Clearance is Essential.
This position offers hybrid working, and a working 9 day fortnight.
