Commissioning Manager
WB Power Services is seeking a dynamic Commissioning Manager to join our expanding team and work on nationwide projects. The Role:
- Oversee the commissioning process for new construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Monitor progress and track milestones throughout the commissioning phase.
- Ensure all systems are correctly installed and fully operational before project handover.
- Coordinate with various contractors involved in the commissioning process.
- Develop and adhere to schedules and timelines for the commissioning process.
- Maintain compliance with company quality systems ISO’s
- Identify and address delays proactively, mitigating risks effectively.
- Resolve issues promptly during the commissioning process.
- Provide regular updates to clients and Project Managers regarding commissioning activities.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
The Person:
- Willingness to travel and work away, with a compensation package.
- Experience with generators is desirable.
- Recognized qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Previous experience in commissioning coordination or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 quality systems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective coordination with various stakeholders and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
