Job Description
We have just been instructed by a leading international law firm to assist them with the recruitment of a Commodities Lawyer to join their London team. The ideal candidate should have experience gained within an international law firm in the shipping, trade and offshore energy sectors, having advised clients such as the world’s largest trading houses, energy contractors and ship-owners/operators.
You will be expected to provide commercial advice on the production, trade and transportation of oil, gas (including LNG) and other commodities and have a proven track record of having managed major disputes in international institutional arbitration (LCIA, ICC, SIAC, LMAA etc.) and in High Court proceedings. To qualify for this position, you must be and England & Wales qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE. A starting salary of approximately £80,000 is on offer + bonus and benefits.
