About the role:

The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) is seeking a Communications Assistant; a creative and driven individual to help craft compelling digital content that engages and entertains our audience.
Your content will shine a spotlight on the value of trade marks, support our members, and inform the public about CITMA’s initiatives. You’ll play a crucial role in planning and executing our daily content strategy.
Responsibilities
- Create captivating content for CITMA’s website, social media, and e-newsletters
- Generate and coordinate blog ideas to promote trademarks and intellectual property
- Write and promote event-related content
- Participate in weekly editorial meetings to brainstorm new content ideas and maintain a content calendar
- Keep our website up-to-date
- Assist with the production of our annual report
Experience
- Previous experience in a communications role
- Proven ability to create engaging content
- Experience with website content management systems
Qualifications and attributes
- Proactive self-starter with initiative
- Degree educated
- Excellent written English skills with copywriting experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, confident in engaging with colleagues
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a demanding workload
- Creative and innovative, eager to suggest new ideas
- Highly computer literate and proficient in IT systems
- Hybrid work: three days from home, two days in Central London
