Job Description
I'm looking for an experienced consumer focused communications expert. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the way my well known retail client is perceived by key audiences. You will drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communications process from concept to message development to result oriented evaluation. We need someone with influencer marketing, social media and communications rather than a traditional PR Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop PR and external communications strategies (managing a direct report)
- Managing influencer relationships for building the brand (critical past experience required)
- Use social media to tell their story in creative and inspiring ways that resonate with various audiences (this is critical)
- Attending photo shoots, store openings and generating content to create an external image and positive brand reputation
- Manage website content and design to ensure delivery of clear and creative content
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in communications - experience should be retail focused, definitely B2C and ideally lifestyle
- Experience in managing influencers, PR and knowing how to drive creative content in social media campaigns
- 8+ years' of experience in communications operations
- Experience posting and formatting content using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
