Communications Manager


Location – London

Hybrid working – c2-3 days per week in the office



Great opportunity to join this growing and exciting social & market research specialist in London, as a Communications Manager.


As part of the marketing team, you’ll help grow the company brand, drive sales and support their talent acquisition and people retention campaigns.


You will have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a sharp attention to detail to ensure all communication materials are engaging, audience-specific and error-free.



Main Skills


  • 3 years+ communication experience, across both internal and external comms
  • Good experience across website, email, social media and press/PR
  • Content creation across multiple formats – writing copy, design skills, simple video creation and editing, creating newsletters
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a sharp attention to detail to ensure all communication materials are engaging, audience-specific and error-free
  • Excellent communication skills and is able to build relationships and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle competing tasks.



Main Responsibilities



Brand


  • Lead on marketing activity across website, social media and email channels, ensuring content is accurate and engaging
  • Drive engagement and grow the audience across social media
  • Lead on press and PR to raise the company profile and maintain a strong reputation - writing and circulating press releases, growing the press database, and forging relationships with key press contacts to increase coverage
  • With the support of other team members, lead on the creation of compelling award entries, including supporting evidence
  • Lead on content creation (video, photos, written materials) for both the company brand and employer brand, working with external suppliers, where required
  • Support the Marketing Director on delivery of sector-specific marketing campaigns, including virtual and in-person events


Employer brand


  • Lead on the production and content creation of the monthly team newsletter and other company updates, supported by the Marketing Executive
  • Lead the management of review platforms (Glassdoor, Indeed etc)
  • Support the People team with recruitment content
  • Liaise with the Research team on client project support, such as comms planning and content creation (outsourcing support activities where required)
