Job Description
This is a varied Communications Manager role operating in a busy, high pressure Press Office and Communications Team. You will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering press campaigns both reactive & proactive.
- Seeking out stories and writing press releases across all forms of content.
- Working with multiple stakeholders to deliver key messaging
- Maintain a network of trusted media professionals, outlets and organisations
- Supporting on an crisis communications
The Successful Applicant
The candidate that secures this Communications Manager position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Proven track record in Media/Press relations role, working knowledge of the public sector will be advantageous.
- Enjoys both reactive and proactive press work
- Performs in rapidly changing media priorities
- Happy to work as part of a team to deliver key strategic messaging, in addition to managing solo campaigns
- Office based in central London minimum 3 days/week
