Main Responsibilities

  • Formulating an Internal Communications Plan: Designing and implementing a communication plan that aligns with the organisation's mission and values, promoting staff engagement and ensuring coherent messaging
  • Coordinating Internal Events: Planning and executing internal events, such as staff meetings and workshops, to boost employee engagement and foster team cohesion
  • Maintaining Messaging Consistency: Scheduling and approving regular communications to ensure that all employees receive clear and consistent messages
  • Managing Communication Projects: Taking the lead on various internal communications projects, from initiation through to completion
  • Providing Training and Support: Offering guidance and training to staff on effective communication tools, especially new software and technologies, to enhance overall communication proficiency within the organisation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience in an Internal Communications role
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance and streamline communication efforts and expand their reach
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude
  • CIPR or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Experience working in a not for profit organisation (desirable)
