The Role
This is an excellent role for a Community Care Solicitor to join this growing, Top 200 practice based in the heart of Reading, Berkshire.
The community care department has grown substantially in recent years. You will predominantly work with the SEN team (Special Educational Needs) to resolve issues around social care and health for their clients in light of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The work will involve collaborating closely with the SEN team but is not restricted only to clients with SEND issues or just to children and young adults. You will work alongside the Education, Clinical Negligence, PI, and Court of Protection teams.
Due to the growth of the department, this role comes with excellent prospects for progression.
- You will be a Community Care Solicitor (there is no specific PQE bracket for this role and applications from all levels are welcome).
- You will have good experience dealing with special educational needs.
- You should have excellent communication skills.
- A meticulous eye for detail is essential.
- Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
