This fantastic Manager (Senior Assistant Co Sec/Assistant Co Sec level) opportunity within a growing and supportive team environment would suit an ambitious Assistant Co Sec - either from an In-House background seeking fresh challenge, increased variety and greater main board experience or from an advisory/professional firm seeking more advisory/project work and/or plc exposure. This listed Global business has a proven track record of providing outsourced services and solutions to a varied client base ranging from pre-IPO privately held groups to some of the largest businesses in the world – including both UK and overseas listed organisations . The business has a long-established reputation for the provision of a range of outsourced financial, governance and compliance services but Company Secretarial is recent addition to their Global solutions. Established just four years ago the team has leveraged it’s strong client relationships to become the fastest growing service provider in the UK and has now grown to c30 people and is continuing to expand. Unlike some Company Secretarial service providers, governance is at the very core of what the business does and so there is strong inbound referred work and substantial investment in place to drive further growth.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a time of growth and transformation. As a Manager, you will own the day-to-day relationship with your clients and enjoy a varied portfolio of purely plc and pre-IPO businesses across a wide range of sectors. You will lead and deliver on engagements (with support from more junior members of the team), advising on listed plc requirements, compliance, governance and transaction related matters as well as owning board support, the annual AGM cycle and all listed regulatory and compliance matters.


In addition, you will coach and mentor juniors and support leadership with the development of the business, marketing and networking activities and through contributing to the development of new initiatives, ways of working etc…


As the ideal candidate you are likely to:

  • Be a qualified (or near-qualified) Company Secretary.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years broad-ranging UK company secretarial experience within a FTSE listed environment or of working with listed clients within a service provider.
  • Demonstrable strong technical knowledge of UK listed plc governance, compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Have strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Preferably have some experience of managing and coaching more junior members of the team (though this is not essential).
  • Have a passion for delivering high quality work and contributing to a friendly, collegiate and genuinely supportive team.


This role is based in London and the office operates a hybrid working model of c2 days/week in the office.


On offer is a salary of up to £75,000 plus bonus, share scheme and benefits. Please note: To be considered, you must have full eligibility to work within the UK without the need for sponsorship of a visa.
