Leading Insurance Company operating on the Lloyd's Market are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to join their growing Corporate Governance function.


This role will play an integral part in reshaping the company secretarial function. You will operate as part of a collegiate and supportive team, reporting to the Head of Company Secretariat.


Responsibilities include:

  • Providing full company secretarial support to Board & Management Committees.
  • Chairing Board meetings and setting agendas.
  • Statutory filings with Companies House and regulators following the conclusion of Board Meetings.
  • Horizon scanning for future compliance regulations that could affect the company.
  • Working on corporate governance projects including continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives.


Candidates must have the following:

  • Experience working in a regulated environment - preferably Insurance.
  • Strong minute taking and committee experience.
  • Understanding of Corporate Governance and the regulatory landscape.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a growing Company Secretarial Team.
