Purpose & Accountabilities
This position assumes responsibility across the organisation to understand, identify and drive a program of prioritised initiatives that strengthens Reckitt’s compliance levels, then establishes a foundation to unlock ongoing value opportunities. The role may include direct management of global systems, typically used across an end-to-end product lifecycle. It will involve a thorough understanding, collaboration and influence of a wide collection of systems/platforms and processes across the organisation, mainly GR&D and Supply. The position will play a fundamental role in representing the business interests in a wide range of related management forums and cross functional initiatives. Reporting to the Global R&D Head Operational Excellence with a dotted line to the SVP Head Global Quality.

Key Outputs/Deliverables

  • Long term strategy for Reckitt’s compliance ecosystem – in strong partnership with IT&D and wide collaboration across functions and BUs
  • Working with IT&D to establish and implement short term and long term high-level ecosystem Strategy and Vision, alongside technology roadmaps 
  • Working closely with Data Governance & Analytics stream to ensure robust data management strategy with clear ownership of Functionally owned data 
  • Applies BAU discipline to areas of system accountability inc product life cycle management 
  • Continuous improvement through innovative and data driven practices. Oversees the long-term business digital capability with compliance and consumer safety as a core
  • GR&D, Supply (especially Quality)

Functional Skills and Experience

  • Broad knowledge of core R&D and Supply operations 
  • Product Lifecycle Management capabilities and technologies and their implementation/application in large scale consumer goods/manufacturing organisations.
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory, quality and compliance environment within Healthcare and CPG industry.
  • Sound understanding of wider R&D and Manufacturing interdependencies/impacts on ensuring safe and compliant products across lifecycle.
  • Deep experience, knowledge and appreciation of data standards, governance processes and usage in large enterprises across functions 
  • Experience of complex technical environments with an eye to long term simplification, connection and leverage
  • Advanced change Leadership & influencing

Technical Skills and Experiance

  • Deep experience in either R&D or Quality operations. Ideally experience across both
  • Global systems development and implementation experience
  • Management and collaboration within cross functional stakeholders and own teams
  • Inspires teams to get behind a vision
  • Effectively conveys complex and political issues to diverse audiences
  • Creates and sustains an innovative culture
  • Have a genuine interest in driving digital transformation across an organisation
