Job title: Computer Aided Facilities Management Designer Location: Samlesbury (Hybrid) We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role. Salary: £45,326 + depending on experience What you'll be doing:

  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to obtain critical design information/scope necessary to complete project designsProducing CAD designs that support feasibility, project delivery and post completion operational models/records in both 2D and 3DSupporting new projects through timely provision of advice and undertake design review of third parties in line with standardsSurvey buildings and infrastructure, traditionally and using laser scanners to register point cloud data and support 3D model generation
Your skills and experiences:Essential:
  • Proven 2D and 3D CAD experience in a general design using packages such as: Bentley MicroStation, Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Autodesk RevitAwareness of workplace and building related regulationsProficient in surveying techniques and the ability to record 'as is' plans and schematics
Desirable:
  • Experience using 3D point cloud laser scanner

The Computer Aided Facilities Management team:As a Computer Aided Facilities Management Designer, you will build skills and knowledge within specialist areas, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D design. You will be working with a team of 9 members, this will be increasing by a further 4 soon. The team is responsible for looking after the digital records of the facilities and estates for the Company.
