Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computer science lessons to Primary/Secondary school students
- Develop and implement challenging and differentiated curriculum to meet the needs of individual students
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to promote active learning and student engagement
- Assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to support their ongoing development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
- Qualified teacher status, with a specialization in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience teaching computer science to Primary/Secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant educational standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Passion for computer science education and a commitment to staying updated with emerging trends and technologies
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
