Independent, regional law firm with an enviable reputation and impressive portfolio of clients. Quality of work is excellent across both contentious and non-contentious areas acting for clients operating largely within the UK but also overseas.
The firm is recommended in Chambers, Legal 500 and The Times Best Law Firms. The management team provides strong and effective leadership and nurtures a supportive and progressive culture.
Two positions have arisen within the team. Working closely with the head of department, a role which will appeal to newly qualified and recently qualified solicitors. In addition, a more autonomous role requiring not less than 5 yrs’ PQE. Applications are welcome from both contentious and non-contentious specialists and those wishing to combine a mixed caseload.
This cohesive team has enjoyed considerable success but still relatively small, meaning these appointees will form an integral part and be afforded plenty of client contact. The focus is on mid-tier acting on behalf of contractors, sub-contractors, property owners, developers and construction professionals.
We continually receive excellent feedback about this firm being a vibrant and engaging place to work. It has a progressive approach and attracts high calibre lawyers looking to combine a rewarding career with a more sensible work life balance.
** Please note that references to post qualification experience (PQE) are given as a guideline to the competences required for technical, client and case management skills, as well as budgeted salary for the role. We encourage you to apply for any job for which you feel you are a suitable candidate.
