This is an unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate to join this leading construction team in their offices in Scotland. The construction solicitor will work as part of this award winning construction team to provide non-contentious construction advice and transactional support for a wide range of global and UK wide clients in the real estate, investment, energy, transport and infrastructure sectors. This role would suit an experienced construction solicitor 3 + years PQE.

Our client has a leading construction and projects team who work on major projects for high profile clients across the UK and internationally as well as retaining a solid amount of domestic construction work. As such the successful construction solicitor will get access to a number of workstreams and the opportunity to broaden their experience of cross border work and international client base. The construction solicitor will also have the opportunity to work autonomously running matters and fronting client relationships and also assisting with a large cross border. cross office transaction. The firm is very forward thinking and is leading the way in legal technology and so working for them you will have the latest legal tech and systems at your disposal to assist with the role.

The Role
You will get the opportunity to either lead on or assist with high profile construction, projects and energy projects some of which are large multi-jurisdictional in nature.
The Person
- Qualified Solicitor - Ideally 3 + years PQE - Scottish or English qualified preferable
- Strong academic background
- Experience of the UK infrastructure and real estate markets preferable but not essential
- Strong drafting experience with experience of drafting a range of construction contracts, collateral warranties preferable
- Client first approach with strong BD skills
