Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking torecruit a Consultant in Emergency Medicine. Successful candidates will join a team of16 consultants. The Directorate providesservices across 3 hospital sites within the county of Worcestershire.
As a Trust we are actively involved in developing thetraining program for students from the Three Counties Medical School based inWorcester which opened in September 2023. We look forward to establishing linkswith the new Medical School in addition to well-established relationships withthe University of Birmingham and the University of Warwick.
As part of the Consultant Advisory Appointment Committee, shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a 5 minute presentation on the topic: What digital innovations do you think will benefit patients in WANHST Emergency departments.

As part of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Cross-County Emergency Medicine Directorate, you will have the opportunity to work at both Worcestershire Royal Hospital and the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. You will be joining us at an exciting time as both our departments have seen significant investment to improve facilities for patients and rest and training facilities for staff. Summer 2023 will see the opening of a multi-million-pound state-of-the-art Urgent and Emergency Care centre on the Worcestershire Royal Hospital site, with co-located EM, Acute Medicine, Radiology and SDEC services to transform our activity.
