About the Role:

This is a key role in supporting execution of the Regulatory Change Framework for Asset Servicing. Uses specific knowledge of a discipline to achieve goals through own work. Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience. Uses expertise to provide guidance to others as a project manager or consultant. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.

May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Major Duties

  • Responsible for Risk monitoring, inspecting and proposing new metrics and measures to correct or improve an existing process
  • Co-ordinate with business units and compliance framework team to complete the impact analysis for any new regulations
  • Responsible for co-ordinating and conducting the regulatory management forum meetings
  • Supports opportunities for improvement and assists in the prioritization of department activities.
  • Develops internal and external Networking opportunities in relation to COO activities.
  • Maintain the repository of Regulations, artefacts and evidences
  • Completes issues/trend analysis with review by their Manager.
  • Requires strong understanding of data analytics and related tools

Knowledge and experience:

  • Professional with extensive business experience, multi-disciplinary functional experience with a focus on proactive activities within the group.
  • Knowledge of the firm and industry.
  • Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail.
  • College or University degree is preferred
  • Previous experience in a Risk & Control function would be helpful.
