Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Content Design Manager to join our innovative team. As Content Design Manager you’ll design and produce educational materials aimed at adult learners within the corporate sector that are contemporary, high-end, engaging, and informative. You’ll have a knack for instructional design and a flair for using digital educational technologies. A solid understanding of
psychology principles is desirable to truly create an impact. You’ll be based within our Client Success and Product team and report into our Chief Science Officer.

Your responsibilities

  • Research new content from scientific (primarily psychology and neuroscience), business and leadership literature to develop products which are contemporary and evidence-based.
  • Combine content design and UX writing with the end user in mind.
  • Develop, design, and maintain educational content for a variety of both live and digital learning solutions, including live and online courses, webinars, and workshops.
  • Tailor and customise existing content and materials for the intended audience to include reference to the latest science and data and to bespoke learning challenges
  • Utilise instructional design methodologies to ensure content is effective, engaging, and specifically tailored to the target audience.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate psychological concepts into accessible learning materials.
  • Implement and manage content both internally and for clients and ensure compatibility and functionality across different digital tools.
  • Ensure all developed materials adhere to internal style guidelines. Manage and update these style guides where required.
  • Design learning graphics (including visuals, models, toolcards) that enhance the UX and learning experience for the audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in educational technology and business psychology to continually enhance our educational offerings.
  • Participate in the continuous evaluation and improvement of educational content based on learner feedback and performance analytics.
  • Manage set up and access to Positive’s LMS and support clients with the inclusion of Positive’s content in their LMS.

Your qualities and experience

  • 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Creative thinker and innovative content developer with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proven experience in developing instructional materials, with a focus on adult learning.
  • Tech-savvywith proficiency in educational technology and design tools such asHeyGen, Articulate Rise 360, Prezi, Canva and other digital platforms.
  • Designskills that make educational materials effective, appealing and ‘onbrand’ to include educational design, visual/graphic design, technicaldesign and UX design.
  • Strong skills in using and managing Learning Management Systems and other digital educational tools.
  • Excellentattention to detail. Excellent proof-reading, written and verbalcommunication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific oracademic content simply.
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Psychology,Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Background incorporate training is highly desirable.
  • InnovativeAI Enthusiast who demonstrates a proactive approach to integrating thelatest AI technologies and methodologies into their work, continuallyseeking out and adopting opportunities to drive innovation andefficiency using generative AI.
  • Prototyping, UX, and wireframing experience.
  • Adobe InDesign and Illustrator skills, or a willingness to learn ‘on the job’.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.

  • Full-time, based in UK
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Hybrid working – 2 days/week in the London office
  • Brilliant shared office space, based in Holborn (dog friendly!)
  • Salary: £35 -45k depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • An additional 3 days annual leave between Christmas and New Year
  • £250 work from home allowance to get set up
