Overview Are you working, or have worked, in Education and are looking to move into a rewarding career where you can help to enrich the lives of learners? We are looking to recruit an Editor, with a strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, to join our Product Content Team. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and will be able to use their knowledge to create rich, educational content (such as lesson plans, schemes of work, blogs, activity ideas, videos, images) to help elevate our resources. We work with 28, schools, nurseries, and education trusts in countries to deliver customer-centric solutions that improve education outcomes worldwide. Responsibilities Working collaboratively with the Content, New Product Development (NPD), and Product Management teams, to contribute and supporting planning of a monthly and annual program of content to help maximise sales. Have a clear understanding of our product range and what educational material is required to support practitioners with how to use our resources and how to get the most out of each resource, thinking both UK and globally. Create rich, educational content which could encompass imagery, video, online product copy, lesson plans, activity cards, schemes of work, blogs, and suggestions of how to use the resource to its best potential, etc. Work with colleagues in our marketing team to support how resources are marketed to our customers and create any additional content required. Understand our wide range of TTS developed resources and contribute to the planning and delivery of content for new product launches. Work alongside external subject experts and TTS champions in schools and settings to create testimonials, case studies, research and videos where applicable. When necessary, attend educational events or conferences to make connections, research and gather up to date insight, helping to create a network of external advisors and educators to work with. Analyse the performance of the content program, understanding the successes and challenges in order to influence future plans. Work alongside our customer base to truly understand what is needed in the classroom to make TTS resources come alive for the practitioner/teacher and to make their lives easier and ultimately raise achievement within their classrooms. Experience Desirable Skills and Experience: Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about the sector and is keen to help teachers and practitioners to teach and children to love learning. Experience of working within the education sector such as in schools or early years settings. Knowledge of the Primary curriculum. Understanding our customers and what content (e.g. blogs, lesson plans, videos, images) will help to elevate our resources. The ability to write excellent content and direct video to convey the required product message whilst maintaining brand integrity. Have good time management skills and be highly organised so that you can manage and create content for multiple projects at the same time. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build lasting business and customer relationships both at TTS and externally. Be able to analyse data and to react accordingly. Confident and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Driver with full, clean license. What’s in it for you?
