Content Marketing Manager @ scale-up transportation company

Hybrid working - 2/3 days per week in the London, rest WFH (hours 9-6pm)

Report into - Head of


The company :

Our client has over 5 million customers across Europe, making them a leading growing tech company within the logistics industry.

They develop leading technologies to manage supply and demand.


The role/ position :

It is integral this person aligns with both the vision of the brand and culturally of a scale-up culture.

As well as a solid understanding of the insight and the customer behind the screen, what they are genuinely looking for and needing.


TOV & brand guideline change : Completely revamp their TOV & Guidelines to make it much more lighthearted and jokey.

They want someone who's going to come in and crack on with trial, testing, and learning... really work out what Content connects with their target audience.


Channels / Content formats :

Mostly written : email writing, web writing and deploy, direct email, display copy, Video, Social media.

You will only deploy & create Content on the Web, for the rest of the channels you'll just create the content.


Requirements :

  • 3+ years' experience in Content Marketing
  • Minimum of 1+ years' experience at managerial level.
  • Solid experience in a B2C/D2C Technology business - essential for this role!
  • Extensive experience in Copywriting
  • Must have technical web knowledge- building a web page, management of CMS etc...
  • Experience with building websites and content tools
  • Strong knowledge of CMS Systems.
  • Extremely creative & collaborative mindset.


Role :

  • Create, develop, & deliver all Content across entire customer journey.
  • Create Content & Copy across all channels- Social, hyper-localized Content, Podcast, video, Web, Blog, etc...
  • Defining and building website and content tools with Tech team
  • Writing and copywriting
  • Establish, define & maintain brand guidelines & TOV.
  • Be the go to person across the business for all things content
  • Own the Content strategy from start to finish (Look at timeline of what come next)
  • Close collaboration with the wider team, Product, Sales, CRM, Tech etc...
  • Site migration
  • Develop their CMS as they look to fully migrate their content onto a new system
  • Manage their internal CMS, working with the product team to develop new components that will help to continually improve the performance of the pages.
