Content Strategist Location: UK Remote Length: 6 Months Rate: From £28.37 p/h PAYE + (Approx. £59K per annum) Hours: 9am-6pm This client is a top 5 tech giant and owner of some of the world's most popular social media platforms and instant messaging apps, connecting billions of people across the globe. Job Description: Summary: The main function of a content specialist is to aid in surfacing the best content and conversations on platforms and help improve the output of the company’s GenAI applications. The typical specialist will have excellent editorial judgment, a strong command of social media and a good understanding of trending news and topics, as well as how they inform social conversations. Experience in using advanced GenAI tools is a plus. Job Responsibilities:   Review a range of content, including credible news, entertainment and short-form video (SFV) from a diverse set of publishers, broadcasters, public figures, creators and influencers Identify cultural trends across a broad spectrum of topics Apply review guidelines to content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency Review and improve output of GenAI applications like LLM-based tools Collaborate with our internal content and product teams to improve user experience Have the ability to work an atypical schedule as required, including nights, Saturday and Sundays Requirements:   Experience in social media, editorial, content creation, journalism or digital media - Deep knowledge of the social media landscape and SFV content Experience with social discovery and/or social listening tools (i.e. NewsWhip) Excellent skill in editorial strategy and what makes digital content great Experience in applying GenAI products for professional and personal use Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Language skills a plus (e.g. Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hindi, etc.) – Nice to have not essential to the role. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree required.
