The Role:


As a Content Strategist, you’ll be the first content hire at Hook and will play a key role in establishing our content strategy and vision. Your role will be to work on the creation and execution of different types of content, including whitepapers and reports, blogs, ebooks, newsletters and social media posts (including video).

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will be tasked with creating exceptional, SEO-optimised content that delights and educates our target audience, helping to increase the amount of inbound leads generated for our sales team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating engaging, relevant content around targeted marketing campaigns
  • Optimising all written copy and landing pages for SEO purposes
  • Developing a content strategy designed for social media
  • Copywriting for paid social
  • Assisting with email marketing, including newsletters and cadences
  • Liaising with freelancers where required e.g. for merchandise purposes, videography/animation and more
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather insights and create additional content where needed
  • Being active in relevant communities, groups and forums
  • Analysing and reporting on content performance using Google Analytics and Hubspot
  • Working closely with our sales, customer and product teams to understand overall content performance such as SALs, and generate ideas for additional marketing collateral
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, being able to adapt copy to different audiences
  • Good understanding of SEO and content optimisation
  • Understanding of marketing automation
  • Strong analytical skills


£45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
